ChatGPT Agent: features, benefits, and how to get started

OpenAI has just launched ChatGPT Agent, a new feature that allows the AI not only to respond but also to carry out tasks independently on your behalf.

If you’ve so far only used ChatGPT for asking questions or generating text, this is a major step forward for you as well: the Agent can now handle complex tasks for you.

What features does it have?

ChatGPT Agent combines several tools and can, among other things:

  • Review your calendar and summarize meetings
  • Collect and analyze competitor data
  • Generate documents, spreadsheets, or presentations
  • Navigate websites and even fill out forms entirely on its own (if you dare 😉).

Everything happens within a virtual browser where you, as the user, must approve any critical actions.

What benefits does it bring?

This means you can automate routine tasks and free up time for the work that truly requires your attention. You interact as usual through prompts, but the outcomes are much more advanced.

Examples

  • Conduct a competitor analysis without opening 20 tabs
  • Create presentations directly from notes or emails
  • Find different stores where you can buy a specific tool.

At Digital Works, we believe it’s a useful sparring partner – but not a decision-maker.

How to get started?

Although the technology is impressive, the Agent isn’t infallible. It shouldn’t make your decisions but rather assist you throughout the process. You remain in control, and the Agent simply helps you reach your goals faster and smarter.

ChatGPT Agent is currently available to Pro, Plus, and Team users in the US, and will soon be rolled out in the EU.

At Digital Works, we’re happy to help you understand, implement, and get real value out of AI – both strategically and practically.
