It is important to increase the value of your professional LinkedIn network by connecting with relevant people, including prospects, customers, and influencers.

But how do you connect with relevant and interesting people?

When you want to connect with new, relevant people, ask yourself two questions:

  • WHY – is it relevant for the individual to connect with you
  • OUTCOME – what value can you give them

Important! You can only write 300 characters in an invite to connect.

An example:

Dear XX,
After visiting your profile, I noticed that we both have an interest in digital business. I believe I could enrich you with digital news. Shall we connect and share insights? I hope you will accept my invitation.
