LinkedIn has introduced several new features designed to enhance user experience, streamline advertising, and improve content transparency. Here’s a breakdown of 5 new features to help you navigate its landscape:

1. AI-Powered ad campaigns with Accelerate

This AI-powered tool analyses your product or service and company information provided and recommends a complete campaign strategy, including target audience and creative content type (images, videos, etc.). You’re still in control, able to adjust and refine the campaign before launch.

2. LinkedIn introduces labels for AI-generated images

Have you ever wondered if a picture is created with AI because it doesn´t seem real? LinkedIn is now labelling AI-generated images to improve transparency and fight misinformation. This move aligns with actions by other platforms like TikTok and complies with standards from the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA).

3. Sponsored newsletters and articles

Similar to sponsored articles, you can now pay to promote your company’s newsletter, reaching a wider audience within your industry.

According to LinkedIn, this could be a valuable tool for building brand awareness and generating leads, as well as a showcase of your company´s expertise in front of other relevant professionals or organizations. For now, this tool is only available from Company Pages, not personal profiles where one is sending out newsletters.

4. Premium Company Pages

LinkedIn claims that businesses can now increase their reach with LinkedIn’s Premium Company Pages. This subscription unlocks additional features to enhance their company profile and attract more attention within the platform. Think of it as a toolbox with resources to showcase your brand in the best light.

You might have noticed that link preview images in organic posts appear smaller than before. This is a deliberate change by LinkedIn to encourage native posting (articles and updates) on their platform. However, sponsored posts retain the larger image format. So, if you want your links to stand out organically, consider creating an attractive post to join them.
